Furnishings & Equipment

9:30 a.m.— 5:00 p.m. Monday-Sunday. Upon check-in an emergency management contact number is provided.   All properties are furnished with the basic supplies, glasses, dishes, silverware and cooking appliances. We do not provide linens.
     
Check-In/Check-Out Times   Grilling
Check-in 3:00 p.m. Check-out 10:00 a.m. Check-in and check-out times strictly enforced.   No grilling on covered decks or within 10 feed of any structure.
     
Reservations   Cleaning
Reservations are accepted by phone or e-mail. Phone reservations are held for 7 days for deposit to arrive. Deposits are accepted in the form of money order, cashier’s check, and/or personal check. Your balance is due at check-in; however we do not accept personal checks at check-in.   Upon arrival, please notify us immediately if you do not find the unit clean. If we have not heard from you within one hour of check-in, we will assume that you found the accommodations in an acceptable condition. All units are provided with a mop, broom, and vacuum. If they are missing, please notify us immediately. Maid Service is available during your stay at an additional cost.
     
Sales & Room Tax   Smoke Detectors
All rents are subject to 13% North Carolina Sales Tax and Rent Tax.   These are installed for your protection. Please test smoke detectors upon arrival and report any malfunctions immediately.
     
Security Deposit   Pets
All rentals require a Security Deposit, which is refundable within 15 days of checkout and provided no damage to the unit has occurred.   No pets are allowed in any of our rental units. If you violate this policy, you will be asked to leave. No refund will be provided should this occur.
     
Cancellation   Check-out Procedures
If your reservation is cancelled more than 60 days in advance of your rental period, you will receive a refund of your Advance Rent Payment minus a $100.00 Cancellation Fee. If less than 60 days notice is given and the unit is not re-rented, there is NO Refund unless your claim is covered by Travel Insurance. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.   - Wash all dishes, cookware, utensils, etc.
- Empty dishwasher and return all items to the proper places.
- Put all trash in garbage bags and place in outside trash container. Leave the unit neat and tidy.
- Close and lock all windows and doors. Return keys to Island Realty.
